FloBros claim Residents Bowl crown
Southeastern Section team outlasts the competition to capture the title at AUA2026.

The bragging rights belong to the FloBros.
The Southeastern Section captured the championship at the 2026 AUA Residents Bowl, prevailing in a spirited competition that showcased some of the brightest resident talent in urology.
A perennial favorite in the Science & Technology Hall, the Residents Bowl brought together teams representing the AUA's Sections, along with international trainees, for a fast-paced test of knowledge spanning the breadth of urology. Competitors tackled questions covering subspecialty topics, landmark studies, historical milestones and emerging research, all while vying for Section pride and the coveted championship title.
The FloBros advanced through the tournament before defeating the South Central Section’s Prostate of the Union in the final round, securing the 2026 crown in front of an enthusiastic audience of residents, faculty and meeting attendees.
The championship team included:
Kenneth Cintron-Cartagena, MD (team captain)
Johnny Dudinec, MD
Gabriel Leonardo Carreno Galeano, MD
Parker McDuffie, MD
Maxwell Sandberg, MD
Now in its 13th year, the AUA Residents Bowl continues to celebrate the academic excellence, camaraderie and competitive spirit that define the next generation of urologists. Congratulations to all who participated, and especially to the Southeastern Section's FloBros, the 2026 Residents Bowl champions.
