Olympic gold
New National Residency Abstract Olympics honors six programs.

A record-breaking 8,400 abstracts were submitted for the 2025 AUA Annual Meeting—setting the stage for an exciting new tradition.
For the first time, the AUA hosted the National Residency Abstract Olympics, a spirited competition recognizing U.S. Residency Programs with the highest number of accepted resident abstracts for AUA2025. Programs were grouped by size: large programs (11 or more residents) and small programs (10 or fewer residents).
Top honors:
Large Program Champion: Northwestern Medicine Urology Residency Program
Small Program Champion: Cedars-Sinai Urology Residency Program
Additional top performers included the University of Wisconsin and Weill Cornell Medicine (tied for 2nd in the large program category), and Maimonides and Dartmouth in the small program division.
Congratulations to all participating programs for their outstanding contributions to urological research.
