This 2-hour CME-accredited symposium and live webcast will focus on the management of patients with prostate cancer. Research To Practice (RTP) will recruit five clinical investigators with an expertise and/or specialized interest in the management of prostate cancer to serve as the faculty, one of whom will moderate the program. Leading up to the event, RTP will recruit two additional investigators to participate in one-on-one interviews with RTP President Dr Neil Love, during which they will present interesting and challenging cases from their practice for which they would seek input or a second opinion. RTP will select specific deidentified cases for presentation during the program. The agenda for the symposium will be divided into five modules. To set the stage for discussion and debate, each module will begin with select video excerpts from these case presentations. The faculty will review the clinical scenarios and address key educational issues, describing how they approach decision-making in the management of prostate cancer in a variety of clinical settings. Following the case-based discussion, a faculty member will deliver a concise presentation reviewing relevant scientific knowledge, available data sets and ongoing research studies related to the topics under review. To increase engagement, attendees will be invited to submit questions and cases of their own for the faculty to discuss. The program will be offered as an in-person symposium and will also be broadcast live for virtual attendees.
