Now playing: Clinical Trials in Progress

Located in the Learning Lab, adjacent to the Science & Technology Hall, Clinical Trials in Progress is an innovative new program designed to increase awareness of important clinical trials that are expected to influence practice when they are ultimately reported and/or published.
AUA2025 will feature ongoing industry-sponsored or investigator-initiated independent studies that are about to open, currently accruing participants, or in follow-up. Featured trials will describe its purpose, design, and eligibility criteria, but whose primary findings have not yet been reported.
Featured trials were reviewed based on its:
- Strength of Science: The trial addresses an important and new question
- Trial Design: Eligibility criteria, study endpoints, and planned analysis are all well-defined
- Collaboration: There is potential for investigator collaboration
- Relevance: Results are relevant and of interest to the AUA Annual Meeting community
The principal investigator for each will have approximately 10 minutes to present and take questions from the audience.
Trials accepted for the Annual Meeting are copyrighted by the American Urological Association and published in a supplement of The Journal of Urology® on the first day of the Annual Meeting.
